Ijoba Lande, a Nigerian actor and comedian, shared his disappointing experience working with Nollywood diva Funke Akindele, stating that he was only paid ₦90,000 after one month of labor.
Lande made the announcement in a viral video, which elicited conflicting emotions. While some attacked Akindele for the claimed low salary, others accused Lande of unfairly calling her out.
During a live session on his social media website, Lande discussed his collaboration with the Everybody Loves Jenifa singer. He claimed to have spent a month in Akindele’s home in Amen Estate, only to be paid significantly less than he expected.
