Ugandan Arsenal fan shot for celebrating triumph over Manchester United.

While celebrating the Gunners’ 2-0 victory over Manchester United in a Premier League match on Wednesday, December 4, an Arsenal supporter in Uganda was k!lled.
On Thursday, December 5, John Ssenyonga’s death was reported by BBC News. According to the story, a security officer in Uganda shot and killed the deceased Arsenal supporter.
The guard opened fire on a big group of joyful fans at a restaurant in Lukaya town, central Uganda, approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles) from the capital Kampala, injuring another fan.

The incident occurred near the finish of the game, which Arsenal won 2-0. A local reporter told the BBC that the manager of the building was upset by the raucous noise the ecstatic supporters were making and requested that the guard step in.

The BBC cited the local journalist as saying, “But the fans ignored a warning to quiet down.”When the restaurant’s owner turned off the electricity, the patrons became enraged and started making even more noise, according to witnesses who spoke to journalist Farish Magembe.

The guard is said to have started shooting at that point, launching multiple shots. The victim arrived at the scene and was identified as John Ssenyonga, age 30

Lawrence Mugejera, another ardent Arsenal supporter, was admitted to the hospital for medical attention.The story claims that following the incident, the building’s management and security both ran for their lives while the police searched for them.The Daily Monitor newspaper said that they had found a gun at the scene, citing regional police spokeswoman Twaha Kasirye. Kasirye urged supporters to restrain their exuberance and stated, “We condemn the incident and we ask anyone with information that can help the police to bring the suspect to book to speak up.”
